I hope they call me on a mission...

So my sister Becca is officially on her mission. She'll represent our church and share the gospel for 18 months. It's nice that I live here so we could attend her farewell in my mom's ward and see her off to the MTC. She is headed to the California Carlsbad Mission, Spanish speaking.
That is north of San Diego, south of Los Angeles. Wish her luck! I got to see my "baby sister" Angela and my mom too. Here we are at the Provo Temple, since we couldn't take pictures at drop off. They didn't allow any family members into the MTC or have any hand-shaking with the Elders who were ushering to prevent swine flu. It was just a quick release. I liked it.

Both of my parents served missions, and of the 9 siblings, my brother Spencer, sister Hannah, and now Becca have gone. Also, many of the brother-in-laws, including Luke, went on missions for 2 years. I'm glad Becca made this decision to go. It says a lot about her being spiritually ready and willing to serve the Lord.
