Her one-year stats:
Weight: 18 pounds 7 ounces (on Thursday when she was sick she weighed in at 17 lb 12 ounces- it tells you how much she was not eating- we're glad her appetite is back!)
Height: 29 1/4 inches
Head circumference: 44.8 cm
So now she is officially a one-year old. Here are some happier pics.
Jane-isms:
Dad, Dada, Daddy
Mama (this is a new one)
Hi, Hi Jane (to her baby doll), Hi Dad!
Ah duh (All done, sometimes out loud, usually just the sign)
Ahh (means water- think refreshing)
Ba (for her green ball)
Her favorite things:
Daddy, Mama, ball, baby, strawberries, cheerios, cheese, blankie, walking toy, the phone, swings and slides, crawling fast, eating yuckies, and daring walking attempts.
Did you know?
My pediatrician told me that although it is recommended babies ride in convertible car seats that are rear-facing until they are AT LEAST 20 pounds and 1 year old, it is BETTER to leave them rear-facing until they are 30 pounds and close to 2 years old. Too many babies between 1 and 2 years old get hurt in forward facing car seats. Good to know.
She discovered the fence makes fun noise when you hit it.

OH MY GOODNESS! Time flies fast. I cannot believe your Jane is 1 year old already! She is adorable. Love those kissable cheeks that she has had since she was born...I'll never forget! I'm so happy for you!
She is beautiful! Sorry about the TERRIBLE first birthday. How awful. Hope all the rest are a million times better.

Your little one is just precious! Loved looking at your pictures. Sorry, we don't have a blog to let you see our crew.
