March 2008

My sister Katie and her hubby Gordon came out to Boston for a work conference. It was fun to see them and have them visit. We brought them out to see a few sights, but it sure was cold!

We walked around downtown Boston (the cold drove us indoors quickly).

A visit to the Public Gardens and the Commons.

The Old North Church, "One if by land, two if by sea," with Paul Revere.

My sister Barbara married Matt. This was their engagement picture. Isn't she gorgeous? We were happy to leave Boston for warm St. George, Utah for their wedding, when we met Matt for the first time.

Happily married outside the St. George Temple.

We got to meet Becca's boyfriend Mike. (He's at the reception, shielding the cake from the wind.)

My sister Amber made the cake. It was very pretty and modern, and very tasty. If you are interested in seeing more of her cakes, see her site.

These are the result of many hours of slave labor from the family, directed by Amber. They look delicious, don't they?

Here are some slaves, working on chocolate strawberries. Becca, Devin, Luke, and Mike.

More slaves: Mom, Katie, and Gordon.

All my sisters with Barbara.

Luke won the Favorite Uncle prize again for the during-pictures entertainment. Here they are being "magic rocks."

One of my sweet nieces.

Luke is entertaining with some ballet. Notice the 6 little girls following his moves and a contented nephew under one arm? Man, he's got some kid skills. What a fun uncle.

Here are the nieces (and Jaxon) all lined up in their pink dresses. (We are missing Spencer's kids, who couldn't come.)

All the little girls were so excited to see Barb and Matt come out of the temple. This is just a little foresight into their future as parents... little girls.

You stole those pictures from my blog!! I guess it's okay as long as you pay royalties.
