Crawling: She started moving forward after a few months of scooting, rolling, and crawling backwards about 3 weeks ago. She's FAST! I have to run to keep up with her. She loves when Luke and I crawl with her and race. She just laughs and laughs.
Moving: She pulls herself up on everything, climbs stairs, falls down laughing, bonks her head often, likes to stand up and let go, holds onto your hands or furniture and walks, and gets into EVERYTHING. We are still learning the meaning of "babyproof" it's redefined every day.
She knows how to wrestle, especially during a diaper change. She's always moving, even in bed.
She went from being a perfectly wrapped sleeping baby to standing up in her crib until she drops from exhaustion. I'm now greeted by her with arms outstreched after sleep.
Teeth: She got the 2 bottom ones in at about 9 1/2 months. Now she has just broken through 4 top teeth (that was a fun night!). Since this recent aquisition of teeth, she now DEMANDS to feed herself some finger foods at the beginning of each meal. She likes grated cheese, bread, crackers, etc.
Eating: This girl can eat! I decided to feed her until she doesn't want any more or says "all done." (We're working on signs.) She eats 4-5 meals a day of 10-12 ounce. Each meal has whole grains, fruit/veggies, and a protien. Her protiens are plain homemade yogurt, babyfood meat, and beans. I make all her babyfood at home except the meats (It's cheaper, usually healthier, and always tastes better from fresh foods). Still breastfeeding. She better be putting on some weight...
Fun: She still only says Dada (not Mama), laughs a lot, yells like Tarzan, is starting to warm up to people and play with other kids, says "hi", waves bye-bye, loves looking in the mirror, is very ticklish, and plays peek-a-boo at bedtime with her blankets, and sucks on her two fingers when she is sleepy.
