I am constantly trying to "baby proof." Yeah, right. Jane just gets taller and smarter and more curious. I could not find a sock of hers yesterday and she had been in the living room/kitchen with me from wearing it to missing it. After cleaning up her toys and going through her toy basket and under the couch and cushions I gave up searching.
Today, I saw her take off a sock, put it in her mouth to carry while she crawled over, open the oven drawer (on the bottom, with cookie sheets and stuff), and deposit the sock inside! Sure enough, there was the other elusive sock. That baby...Today, she is missing another sock. It was not deposited in that drawer. She must have a new sock hide-out.
